Sadly Gable died before finishing his championship. He did not produce any living puppies (a bitch bred to him lost her entire litter of 7). Though he will never be in our pedigrees, he will live on in our hearts.............
He had 9 points with both majors!! He was owned by Tim & Marilyn Mothersell of Squire Collies.
Winning a 5 point major
Gable was only shown a few times as a puppy. Sitting home all these years, he came back out last Fall and won a 5 point major his first time back in the show ring. He is a littermate to two other champions (Ch. Chelsea CoCo Chanel & Ch. Chelsea Major Obsession) and one other with points (Chelsea Evening in Paris). These guys came from a beautiful litter of 6, sired by the top Herding dog sire (of 2013), out of one of our favorite bitches!
