We
kept two puppies from Betsy and Bailee's summer 2001 litter
Ch. Chelsea Summer Blonde, HIC
"Camille"
Camille finished her championship with 4
majors, 4 specialty wins and multiple Sweeps wins! Her whirlwind
puppy career has been extraordinary and reminiscent of her great-great
grandmother, Ch. Chelsea Ice Castles who also had 3 majors by
10 months of age and went onto finish at 1½ years. Camille's
mom, Betsy, is being bred one more time!

WEBPAGE!
Camille is shown winning Best In Sweeps
at the California Collie Fanciers spring 2002 show, under Terrie
Parker of Cinderella Collies. She is pictured at 8 months, owner
handled. Later the same day she won a 4 point major and Best Puppy
In show under judge Steve Haslett.
Camille's sire, Ch. Chelsea The Crown
Prince, HIC represents 30 years of our limited breeding
program, that began in 1972 with the purchase of our 2 foundation
bitches-- a sable daughter of Ch. Gingeor Jack of Tamarack &
a tri daughter of Ch. Gingeors Indelible Choice--leading
to our first homebred champion, Ch. Chelsea Gold Mist,
whelped in 1973. Camille & her littermates not only trace
multiple times to these bitches, but also to the many specialty
winning champions we have bred over the years. Her dam Ch.
Chelsea Charidan Carte Blanc, HIC (Betsy) was purchased with
the express purpose of incorporating her bloodlines (Southland
& Countryview) into the foundations we begun 30 years ago.
Betsy herself finished with 4 majors (owner-handled). She will
be bred one more time in 2003!
Camille at 9 weeks!
Chelsea Sunshine Girl, HIC
"Natasha"
All last year, Natasha
took a back seat to her faster-maturing sister Camille. Finally
hitting the show ring early this year, Natasha went WB & BOS
over a special under the Sheltie breeder judge, Katie Gammill
Pictured at 9 weeks
The third sister,
is now Ch. Chelsea Elegan Crowing Glory "Lindy", (pictured
on the left) just finished with a 4 point Winners Bitch &
Best of Winners at the Los Padres Collie Club, under Pat Jung.
She finished with 3 majors!! Owner Janet & David Hitt.
Below is a picture
of the puppy bitch we kept from the previous Betsy/Bailee litter
(2000). Four of the puppies are in show homes. Not only were all
of them pointed from the puppy class, but all have gone on to
finish their championships! Along the way they won Sweeps, specialty
majors, major reserves, Best of Varieties & BOS over specials!
