Congratulations Rachel, on finishing your championship with back to back 5 point majors!!!
Rachel hadn't been to a dog show since August 2023, when she won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex under judge Nioma Coen. She then proceded to blow coat, so she ended that summer with 9 points. Because of my being in dog show jail, due to judging the National Specialty in April 2024, we missed all the Spring and Winter specialties. Well she came back out this summer with a bang, winning (2) back-to-back 5 point majors in Reno, to complete her championship. She was owner handled at the first show, using a runner. The next day the judge wouldn't allow a runner, so a friend of mine, Dina Wang took her all the way. She was moved up to Best of Variety at the 3rd and last show and won Select Bitch for a 5 point Grand Champion major, shown by Sondra Dankberg!!
